Terms of Service

• Website Build (one-time): a custom website, quoted per project, typically $650–$1,200. Paid as a 50% deposit to start and 50% at launch approval.
• Fully Managed: a custom website plus hosting, maintenance, support, and monthly content updates. $200/month with a 6-month minimum, or $2,000/year prepaid.
• Hosting & Care (add-on): hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, backups, technical fixes, and 1 small edit per month. $49/month or $490/year.

• Up to 5 pages, mobile-responsive design, 1 contact form, a map embed, and basic on-page SEO (page titles, meta descriptions, sitemap, and search engine indexing).
• 2 revision rounds: one on design direction, one on the full site. Additional revisions are billed at $75/hour.
• Extra pages, booking or payment features, integrations, custom functionality, and copywriting are quoted separately.

• You provide your text, logo, and photos within 30 days of kickoff. If content isn't received, we may launch with placeholder content or pause the project. Fully Managed billing continues during any delay.
• You confirm you have the rights to any content you provide.
• You register, pay for, and renew your own domain. We are not responsible for expired domains.

• Website Build: 3 minor content requests during the first 90 days after launch.
• Fully Managed: 2 minor content requests per month, up to 90 minutes combined.
• Hosting & Care: 1 small edit per month, up to 15 minutes.
• A minor request is a change to existing content, such as text, images, hours, prices, or a testimonial. New sections, new pages, new features, and redesigns are not minor requests.
• Unused requests don't roll over. Work beyond your allowance is billed at $75/hour in 15-minute increments.
• Requests are completed within 2–3 business days. Support is by email or our request form, with a response within 1 business day, or the same day if your site is down.
• Not included: email hosting, Google Business Profile, social media, and third-party tools or accounts.

• Website Build includes 12 months of hosting from launch. Before it ends, we'll email you a reminder. You can then add Hosting & Care or receive your site's code to host elsewhere. If you choose neither, the site is taken down 30 days after hosting ends.
• Fully Managed and Hosting & Care include hosting for as long as your plan is active.

• Once your project is paid in full, you own your website's code, the finished design, and all content created for you. You always own your domain.
• When ownership transfers: Website Build, on final payment. Fully Managed monthly, once the 6-month minimum is paid. Fully Managed annual, once the first year is paid. Until then, you have a license to use the site while your payments are current.
• Our internal tools, templates, and development workspace remain ours.
• On request after ownership transfers, we provide a code export and basic instructions for hosting elsewhere.

• Subscriptions are billed automatically to your payment method on file.
• The first subscription payment is collected at checkout, not at launch.
• Annual plans renew automatically each year at the then-current price unless cancelled. We'll email you a reminder at least 30 days before renewal.
• If a payment fails, we'll retry and notify you. If payment isn't resolved, your subscription may be cancelled and any remaining minimum-term balance invoiced.

• You can cancel anytime by contacting alexprofessionalwebdesign@gmail.com.
• Fully Managed monthly: there is a 6-month minimum. If you cancel before the minimum is reached, your plan continues until the end of your 6th billing month and then ends automatically. Your site stays live and your content updates continue during that time. After 6 months, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fully Managed annual: cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan continues until the end of the paid year.
• Hosting & Care: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• When a plan ends, you can move to Hosting & Care, receive your site's code (if ownership has transferred), or have the site taken down 30 days after your last paid period.

• Website Build deposits are non-refundable once design work has started.
• Fully Managed annual: no refund after design approval in the first year. In later years, unused full months are refunded on cancellation.
• Monthly payments are not refunded for partial months.

• We work to keep your site online and secure but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, search rankings, or business results.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
• We're not responsible for outages or changes caused by third-party services, including hosting platforms, domain registrars, and payment processors.

We may update these terms. We'll notify active clients by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Price changes for existing subscriptions apply only from your next renewal.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
