Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect the following information:

• Contact and business information: your name, business or company name, email address, phone number, website URL, industry or business type, service area, and locations served.
• Project and advertising information: requested services, project goals, the primary service you want to advertise, advertising platforms of interest, current advertising status, approximate advertising budget, desired outcomes, desired start timeline, messages, notes, and other details you choose to provide.
• Affiliate information: contact details or a social handle, prospecting plans, sales preferences, weekly availability, payout preference, application status, referral code, and referral or commission records.
• Account information: the email address and authentication credentials used for an affiliate account. Passwords are submitted to Supabase Authentication and are not stored in GetAlexWeb’s application database.
• Purchase and transaction information: customer name and email, selected package, product or price identifier, amount, currency, payment status, Stripe checkout and payment identifiers, referral attribution, and related order metadata.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, request and page-view details, referring information, timestamps, advertising or cookie identifiers, error information, and security signals that may be collected by hosting, security, advertising, analytics, or payment providers.

We receive information from:

• You, when you complete a form, create or use an account, make a purchase, or contact us.
• Stripe, when it returns payment status and transaction details after checkout.
• Meta, when you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form to GetAlexWeb.
• Your browser or device and service providers that support hosting, security, authentication, email delivery, advertising measurement, and error reporting.

We use information to:

• Respond to inquiries, assess project needs, prepare proposals, and communicate with leads or clients.
• Provide website design, advertising, launch, and support services.
• Set up checkout, process purchases, confirm payments, send receipts, and maintain order records.
• Review affiliate applications, operate affiliate accounts, attribute referrals, and administer commissions.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and its forms.
• Measure advertising activity and understand how visitors reach and use the website.
• Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical errors.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of GetAlexWeb and others.

GetAlexWeb does not sell personal information. We disclose information to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website, store inquiries, authenticate users, process payments, deliver email, measure advertising, prevent fraud, and provide services. These providers include:

• Supabase for database storage and affiliate account authentication, including marketing inquiries, affiliate applications, user roles, and order records.
• Stripe for embedded checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and payment-related records.
• Lovable and Cloudflare for application infrastructure, website delivery, managed transactional email, technical operations, and error reporting.
• Google for Google Ads measurement and hosted website fonts.
• Meta for the Meta Pixel and Facebook and Instagram lead advertisements.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or security issues, or as part of a business reorganization or transfer where permitted by law.

Website-package payments are completed through Stripe’s embedded checkout. Stripe processes payment-card information and applies its own privacy and security practices. GetAlexWeb does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

After a successful payment, GetAlexWeb stores limited order and transaction data in Supabase, such as the customer name and email, package or product, amount, currency, payment status, Stripe session and payment identifiers, and referral attribution. This information supports fulfillment, receipts, accounting, customer support, and fraud prevention.

GetAlexWeb may receive leads submitted through Facebook and Instagram lead advertisements. Those lead forms may collect your full name, email address, phone number, company name, type of business, service requested, and desired start timeline. We use that information to evaluate your request and contact you about relevant services.

Meta separately collects and processes information when you use Facebook, Instagram, or a Meta lead form under Meta’s own privacy policies. Submitting a Meta lead form makes the information available to both Meta and GetAlexWeb.

The website also loads a Meta Pixel and a Google Ads tag. They record site visits or page views and may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure advertising activity. Google and Meta determine how they process information through their respective services.

The website and its providers use cookies or similar browser storage for:

• Referral attribution: when a valid affiliate referral code is present in the URL, GetAlexWeb stores it in a first-party cookie and local storage for 30 days.
• Authentication: Supabase uses browser storage to keep affiliate users signed in and refresh their sessions.
• Advertising measurement: Google Ads and Meta Pixel may use cookies, pixels, and identifiers to record visits and measure advertising.
• Checkout and security: Stripe and infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technology for checkout, fraud prevention, security, and reliable service delivery.

You can restrict cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect sign-in, checkout, referral attribution, or other website functions. You can also use the advertising controls offered by Google, Meta, and your device or browser.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, including responding to inquiries, providing services, maintaining accounts and transaction records, administering referrals, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it is needed; we do not promise a fixed period for every category.

The first-party affiliate referral code stored in a cookie and local storage is configured to last 30 days. Service providers may retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.

GetAlexWeb uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the website, including server-side validation, access controls, restricted database permissions, and established payment and infrastructure providers. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may:

• Choose not to provide optional information, although this may limit our ability to respond or provide a service.
• Adjust browser, device, Google, or Meta controls for cookies and advertising identifiers.
• Ask to access, correct, or delete information GetAlexWeb holds about you by emailing alexprofessionalwebdesign@gmail.com.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, legal obligations, or other legitimate business purposes.

If GetAlexWeb sends you promotional email, you can opt out using the unsubscribe option or instructions in that message, when provided, or by contacting us. Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent necessary service, transaction, security, or account communications.

GetAlexWeb is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

The website may link to Instagram, client portfolio sites, Stripe checkout, or other third-party websites and services. GetAlexWeb does not control their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third party before providing information to it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another reasonable method.
